Local Entrepreneur Recognized As "woman Of The Year"

CENTRALIA, MO. (Monday, August 15, 2005) - Brenda Besalke, franchise owner of the Centralia-based Mr.
Appliance®, was recognized with the company's Woman of the Year award at their 2005 annual reunion in
Las Vegas, Nev.
"Only one female franchisee is selected to receive this honor," Mike Bidwell, president of Mr. Appliance®,
said. "Brenda provides enormous impact and is a shining example for our other franchises."
The Woman of the Year award is presented to the woman who has had the greatest contribution to the
success of the franchise. The recipient is nominated, in writing, and is then selected by the home office
staff. This award is to recognize the continuous efforts that strengthen and support the success on the
franchise.
"This recognition is largely due to our employees' abilities to deliver quality service to loyal, happy
clients," Besalke said. "I owe my thanks to all of them."
