Mr. Appliance® Promotes Fsm To Vice President Of Operations

(Friday, April 28, 2006) - Mr. Appliance, the only franchise providing full-service appliance service and repair in the United States, announces the promotion of Ron Madera, former franchise systems manager, to vice president of operations. "Ron is an asset to Mr. Appliance because he has an extensive background in franchising, sales and owning and operating his own business," said Doug Rogers, president of Mr. Appliance. "With his knowledge and expertise, he will help us strengthen the Mr. Appliance brand throughout the nation." In his new role, Madera is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Mr. Appliance. He still maintains his position of FSM. Before joining Mr. Appliance in 2003, Madera was a franchisee owner for Success Motivations Inc., worked in franchise sales, helped start a high-tech computer hardware company and owned and operated a software development company. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Rogers, former chief operating officer, recently took over as president. Mike Bidwell, former Mr. Appliance president, will keep his positions of president of Mr. Rooter® and chief operating officer of The Dwyer Group®, the holding company for Mr. Appliance and five other service companies.
