Mathnasium Learning Centers Awards 100th Franchise In Less Than Two Years

(Wednesday, September 14, 2005) - Mathnasium Learning Centers, a Los Angeles-based company that offers after-school mathematics instruction, today announced that it has reached an important franchising milestone at extraordinary speed, awarding its 100th franchise since launching worldwide franchise operations less than two years ago.

The most recent franchise sale, which was for the rights to open a Mathnasium location in Riverside, Calif., brings the total of domestic franchises to 94 and international franchises to six. This puts the company on pace to be one of the top five fastest-growing "new franchises" in the U.S. in 2005.

Founded in 2002, Mathnasium offers after-school mathematics instruction in attractive learning centers.
