Dan Keuss and nine others let go from May Department Stores March 1 started Integrated Energy Resources to provide energy management solutions to mainly retail customers. Keuss said he's anticipating first-year revenue of $3 million and year-over-year growth of 25 percent helping retailers -- such as Dillard's, Nordstrom, JC Penney and Federated Department Stores -- save money on their energy costs. Keuss, 58, said he was prepared to retire after getting his severance from May, but he saw the need to employ many of the young, talented workers who were otherwise going to leave the industry. Integrated Energy Resources is based in Dupo.
