Leading Companies In The Printing Industry Assist Franchisee In Need

(Friday, January 20, 2006) - Franchise Services, Inc., parent company of the Sir Speedy franchise network of printing and document services centers received a welcomed response from many of its vendors offering help to a franchisee in need.

Upon learning of the devastation and near destruction incurred by one of its franchise owners in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, FSI organized a relief program to help the franchise owner rebuild his printing business. Leading companies in the printing industry that currently participate in FSI's vendor support program are providing help in numerous ways from paper donations to free equipment. The value of these donations has reached nearly $80,000.

"I'm overwhelmed by the support that Franchise Services and all of these companies have offered to me. Thanks to them, my business is now open again," said Wayne Chambless, owner of Sir Speedy in New Orleans.

Sir Speedy of New Orleans was under water for weeks following hurricane Katrina. Everything from copiers, printing equipment and paper was damaged or completely destroyed.

Now reopened, the printing center offers a wide range of business document services local businesses can use to also get themselves up and running again.
