Pc Kidz Usa Franchise Anounces Their Expansion Into The Charlotte, North Carolina Metro Area
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (Monday, May 01, 2006) -
Shawn Lippincott of Cornelius North Carolina will be the managing owner of PC Kidz Metro LLC, the sixth PC Kidz franchise in the United States. The new franchise will serve Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, Rowan, Cabarrus, Union, York and Stanley Counties in North Carolina. The company will offer computer education classes to preschool and school age children through public and private preschools, as well as through early education programs.
PC Kidz offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on establishing computer literacy and technology skills in children between the ages of 2 - 10 years. This innovative approach not only aligns the curriculum with national technology standards, but presents the lessons with the child's developmental abilities in mind.
Shawn's background is in the sales and marketing arena. He formerly marketed e-learning solutions into Fortune 500 companies in the Carolinas. "I'm absolutely thrilled to become part of the PC Kidz family and I look forward to bringing PC Kidz to North Carolina. Introducing this type of technology at such a young age will develop fine motor skills, analytical reasoning ability, and most assuredly give children the competitive edge they will need to excel in years to come."
PC Kidz , the brainchild of Steve and Tammy Perry, was formed in 2001 after Tammy , a former elementary school teacher, noticed a void in basic computer skills with her students. The PC Kidz program is currently offered in over 150 educational child care centers within the eight company owned and seven franchised territories in Texas, North Carolina and Nebraska.
