Labor Finders Spokesperson Merle Haggard To Appear On Austin City Limits

(Thursday, December 21, 2000) - Labor Finders spokesperson and country "legend," Merle Haggard, will appear in concert on the popular television show "Austin City Limits." The broadcast is scheduled to air on KLRU, Austin's Public Broadcasting Station, as well as most PBS stations around the country on Saturday January 6, 2001. Terry Lickona producer of Austin City Limits states, "Haggard is one of only a handful of country legend's that still has that creative spark." He goes on to say, "Merle has incredible energy. It's unbelievable that he still writes, performs, and records his material. This is the eighth time since 1978 that Merle has appeared on the show."
