La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill® Opens 16th Bay Area Location In San Francisco's Financial District

SAN FRANCISCO (Saturday, October 15, 2005) - San Francisco's bustling financial district is "cashing in" on the Bay Area's hottest new offering now that La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill® has opened its newest location in the heart of the city at 280 Battery Street. Operated by franchise partner Bonaventure Foods LLC headed by Bing Magpayo, the new restaurant is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers freshly prepared Mexican cuisine in a contemporary fast-casual environment. The new 1,955-square-foot La Salsa eatery seats 66 guests and features an exhibition-style kitchen where guests can view their food being prepared to order. Lending additional flavor to the dining experience is a unique salsa bar that features seven freshly prepared varieties of salsa including mango, avocado, chile de arbol, habanero, buena, Mexicana and roasted tomato.

Highlighting the bold, contemporary flavors of Mexico, La Salsa's popular menu items include the signature Stuffed Fajita Quesadilla™: a chipotle tortilla covered with a blend of three cheeses – cotija, jack and cheddar—three-pepper, fajita-style vegetables, cilantro, zesty ancho chile sauce and a choice of marinated chicken or grilled sirloin steak. Other items include Baja-style grilled shrimp tacos, Chile-Lime salad and the popular Grande Burrito. Breakfast is available at this location from 7:30am to 10:30 a.m. with items ranging from breakfast burritos to huevos rancheros. Menu items range from $2.50 to $7.95. A children's menu, vegetarian items and a selection of popular domestic and imported beer and wine also are available.
