Knights Inn® And Villager Chains Offer $28 Military Rate During May

(Thursday, May 01, 2003) - To celebrate National Military Appreciation Month, the Knights Inn and Villager hotel chains are offering a special flat rate of $28 to all active or retired members of the U.S. military.


The flat rate is offered during the entire month of May at participating locations for single- and double-occupancy rooms. To take advantage of the rate, active or retired members of the military must present a form of military identification during check-in.


Military personnel can book stays by calling either chain's toll-free reservations line and asking for rate code LSGM. Stays at Knights Inn hotels can be booked by calling (800) 843-5644 and stays at Villager locations can be booked by calling (800) 328-7829.


Walk-in customers can ask for the Military Appreciation Month rate, but advanced reservations are recommended to ensure participation and availability.


Anthony Falor, president of the Knights Inn and Villager chains, said: "Our special flat rate for military is a small way we can express appreciation to the brave American servicemen and women who have and continue to protect and serve our country."

Rooms at the LSGM rate may be limited and subject to other restrictions. The discounted rate is only applicable for new reservations or walk-ins.
