BURLESON, TEXAS (Tuesday, November 01, 2005) - Kid to Kid is an upscale children's resale store. Kid to Kid is a national franchise that buys and sells gently used kid clothing, toys, accessories and maternity.
Over the past six weeks, Debbie Farrar has purchased more than 10,000 items, including play gyms, cribs, clothing, strollers and maternity clothing. The store also carries 30%-40% of new merchandise.

Debbie said they have had an unbelievable response to their concept. This has allowed her to buy only the best items in excellent condition. She has been able to be extremely selective in her buying process. Franchise software creates a buying and selling price. Customers selling items can choose cash on the spot of receive 20% more if they take their money in store credit.

The Burleson location is Debbie's second store. Her first store is across from the Parks Mall in Arlington and has just received "Store of the Year." She also received "Ambassador of the Year." (from Kid to Kid Franchise Systems)

The Arlington location has been the No. 1 store since the first month Debbie tok over 2 1/2 years ago. "Hopefully next year we will make our goal of a million dollars in sales," she said.

Kid to Kid now has over 50 stores with two in Portugal.
