Koa's Newest Campground Opens At Laughlin, Nevada

LAUGHLIN, NEVADA (Wednesday, March 22, 2006) - Kampgrounds of America's newest park is an oasis in the Southern Nevada desert in Laughlin.

The Laughlin/Avi Casino KOA is located adjacent to the popular Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, on the banks of the beautiful Colorado River.

The campground is part of a $31 million expansion at the resort/casino complex that includes a doubling of the casino's floor space, as well as the addition of new restaurants, a concert center and meeting space.

The campground itself features 260 RV spaces that include large, pull-through campsites, as well as 50-amp electrical service, cable television and wireless internet as well as a swimming pool that's open all year.

Golfers will enjoy the spectacular, 18-hole Mojave Resort Golf Club, located adjacent to the Avi. For water enthusiasts, there is a white sand beach with a private boat launch area. You can also rent personal watercraft at the beach club. The Avi Resort's new lagoon-style pool, with a separate children's pool, will be ready in April.
