The Largest Military Meet Comes To Stockton/delta Koa

STOCKTON/DELTA (Monday, March 27, 2006) - More than 200 military vehicles will be on display and cruising the Stockton/Delta KOA and the Tower Park Resort from April 16 - 22, during the Military Vehicle Collectors of California (MVCC) annual meet. The meet brings members from all over the world that enjoy collecting war memorabilia.

The public is invited to come down and not only see the military vehicles, but check out the large assortment of military collectibles that will be on display and for sale from the over 400 participants.

This family friendly has several events in which the family can enjoy, including breakfast, lunch and dinner being provided by the Tower Park Resort restaurant.

Some of these vehicles that will be taking part in this event are military jeeps, ambulance from the 1940's, tanks with artillery and mechanical mules. There will be military vehicles and parts for sale or trade. Military related items including uniforms, swords, helmets, medals, and patches, from the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam and current supplies will be available.

The Stockton/Delta KOA combines the best of boating and camping. The numerous full hookups, Kamping Lodges, shaded sites compliment 390 open and covered boat slips that give boaters access to the meandering byways of the California Delta. The Tower Park Resort also combines camping and boating while encompassing the reminders of storied pasts mixed with the convenience of a contemporary resort.
