Learning Center Franchise Comes To Lakewood

LAKEWOOD (Thursday, April 27, 2006) - Margie Smith has opened a franchise of the Huntington Learning Center in Lakewood.
Working with students struggling with basic skills, the Lakewood Pavilion Center provides personalized instruction by certified instructors.

Cindy Busler, center director, is a 25-year veteran of the classroom, having worked in the Federal Way, Puyallup and Auburn school districts. Teena Knapp, assistant director of education, has 30 years experience in classroom instruction and school administration.

The center also employs five part-time instructors and offers courses to help students prepare for the SAT and ACT.

The center is located at 5700 100th St. S.W., Suite 400. Its hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. You can reach it at 253-582-4900
