Hair Saloon® Gives Free Haircuts To Veterans On Vets Day

Active Military Personnel Also Qualify In 8th Annual 'Heroes Welcome' Salute

(Thursday, November 04, 2004) - Hair Saloon® For Men, a men's haircutting franchise business, will once again provide free haircuts to American War Veterans and active military personnel all day at every area location on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11. Hair Saloon® currently operates eight stores in the St. Louis area and one in Illinois (Fairview Heights). Hours of operation on Veterans Day are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. No appointments are necessary.

"We've honored veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day every year since we started the Hair Saloon® franchise in 1997," said Tom Twellman, one of three company founders. "Besides a free haircut, the thousands of area veterans we've served over the years appreciate this annual opportunity to gather and share old war stories and fond memories."

Existing Hair Saloon® locations in Missouri include Creve Coeur, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Manchester, Ellisville, South County, O'Fallon and St. Peters. In Illinois, the newest Hair Saloon® store is located at 4610 North Illinois Street in Fairview Heights, just minutes from Scott Air Force Base. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday; and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
