Charter Forum Holds First Meeting
(Thursday, July 01, 2004) -
The charter members of the Dallas EWF International began a year-long journey of personal and business growth. The members held their first EWF International forum meeting for the Dallas area July 13, 2004 at Gleneagles Country Club.
The members committed to a year of growth in a confidential community of peers. They came together with a desire to learn from one another, to be better at what they do and who they are.
When they need to talk about business challenges such as growth strategies, marketing plans, financial decisions and management principles, they'll have the wisdom and input of their fellow forum members.
Ronelle Ianace, President, ESPRE Trade, Inc. shared her thoughts at the end of the meeting. "This is fabulous! The forum helped me elevate my entire marketing plan. I came away with a whole new set of completely implementable ideas. Without the forum I would have thought I could only get valuable input from people in my own industry; but here I got great ideas and feedback from several women in different industries, which was completely unexpected."
As the meeting closed the members shared thoughts and feelings. "I'm coming from a place where I'm always the resource for everyone else," said Dallas consultant Lisa French, owner of Remember the Goal. "This is a real treat for me to be able to ask for help. I feel vulnerable, scared, and very excited."
Kerri Lusk-Barnes, the Dallas franchise owner and forum facilitator, was equally excited, "I'm thrilled to be part of making this possible for such talented women who are committed to helping one another. The women themselves are individually fantastic – but together, wow! It's an inspiring example that the whole is greater than the sum of all of its parts."
