Ewf Celebrates 7th Anniversary

(Saturday, January 01, 2005) - Join us in celebrating the 7th anniverary of providing peer advisory groups for women business owners and executives. Seven years ago, we held our first group of 12 members. Now our membership totals 70 in Oklahoma City and Dallas as EWF International has become the premier choice for personal and professional development for women.

2004 came to a close with more than 50% of all privately held companies in Oklahoma being owned by women, making EWF International a treasured resource for business owners and executives. We are incredibly proud of our members and the tremendous impact they make on the economy. EWF members employ over 34,000 people with revenues more than 21 billion dollars.

We've come a long way.......
Each year forum members are consistently recognized and honored as finalists in community awards.

We were recognized in Entrepreneur magazine in 2003. Annette White Klososky, franchise owner for EWF executive forums, will be featured in the March 2005 issue of Entrepreneur.

We are excited to be part of the expanding electronic medium with our monthly e-newsletter Executive Women's Journal. We reach more than 5,000 people with this useful, informative publication. We frequently contribute editorial columns for local business publications and on-line business publications. Our articles are available on our website as well.

It is our dream to see EWF International expand beyond Oklahoma City and Dallas. Women are starting businesses at twice the general rate, and growing them as well. Women now hold 46% of all managerial positions. We want to be available to help these women blossom into their leadership roles, fulfill their potential and achieve their dreams.
