Del Taco Selects Brainsaw As New Agency Of Record

(Thursday, December 22, 2005) - Del Taco, the nation's No. 2 Mexican quick serve restaurant chain, today announced it has completed an agency review and selected Tustin, Calif.-based Brainsaw as its new advertising agency of record. Brainsaw will develop creative for television and radio commercials for the chain, which operates more than 450 restaurants in 11 states.
Brainsaw created the company's most recent spot highlighting $4 combo meals and free movie rental certificates. The agency's next assignment will be to develop a television commercial and radio spots for a new Del Taco menu item scheduled for introduction in late January.

Del Taco was founded in 1964 and is a privately held company that operates or franchises more than 450 Mexican quick service restaurant locations throughout the United States.
