How Far Can A Leprechaun Launch? Answer: 56.6 Feet

MILWAUKEE, WI (Wednesday, March 15, 2006) - They were bruised and broken, misfired and muddy, but the Leprechauns that took part in Saturday's fundraiser for the MDA still had smiles on their face when all was said and done. It is exactly that Spirit of the Irish which brought the first ever Leprechaun Launch huge success, with Cousins Subs donating $3,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) on behalf of the 150 event participants.

The contest challenged participants to throw a giant, stuffed leprechaun doll as far as they could down a runway set up in Pere Marquette Park. The man, woman and child that threw their leprechaun the furthest walked away with $1,000 each
