Country Inn & Suites By Carlson® Appoints New General Manager At Newark, New Jersey Property

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY (Thursday, February 16, 2006) - Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, the mid-tier lodging brand of Minneapolis-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide, today announced the appointment of Melissa St. John as the new general manager at its corporate-owned hotel in Elizabeth, N.J., where she is responsible for managing the overall operations of the hotel. St. John has an extensive background in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as general manager at the Wellesley Inns & Suites in Fairfield, N.J.
