Cottman Transmission Hosts 40th Anniversary Sweepstakes Winners At The Checker Auto Parts 500.

(Sunday, November 17, 2002) - Cottman Transmission hosted over 100 guests, including dealers, sweepstakes winners and corporate personnel at an on track hospitality event at the Checker Auto Parts 500 held Sunday, November 10th in Phoenix, AZ. Winston Cup driver Jeff Burton, Cottman's spokesperson, addressed the guests at Cottman's Hospitality Tent just before the race. Burton spoke about teamwork, the importance of being focused on your goals and his strategy for the race. After Jeff departed to meet with his own team the Cottman entourage was treated to a behind the scenes tour of NASCAR. Todd Leff, President of Cottman Transmission, led the tour through the #99 Citgo Ford pit area and the garages where everyone was amazed at the amount of work and planning that is involved in a major race.
