North Hollywood High School And Highly Gifted Magnet Premiers Student's Juried Ceramic Self-portraits
(Saturday, August 23, 2003) -
North Hollywood High School along with the Highly Gifted Magnet School will premier work by it's student-artists at its First Annual Ceramic Show, Saturday, June 15th from 6-9 P.M. The show will be up through July 15th at the NOHO Ceramics Gallery located within the COLOR ME MINE International Headquarters Building at 5140 Lankershim Blvd.
According to North Hollywood High School and Highly Gifted Magnet Ceramics Instructor, Greg Price, "this student show is the first of it's kind in North Hollywood. The opportunity for the students to show their work in a professional venue is a highlight in their young artistic careers. The theme of the show is CERAMIC SELF-PORTRAITS and the work shows a great deal of technical accomplishment plus self-reflection."
Mr. Price is also the Coach and Founder of NOHO Varsity Clay, a ceramic art team that competes in regional competitions. The show will have work from Varsity Clay as well photographs from recent events.
