Cash Plus Transforms Summer Time Into Winning Time With Latest Cashaway Sweepstakes!

(Tuesday, July 12, 2005) - If fast cash for summer emergencies isn't enough to pull you in, how about the prospect of winning $5,000 plus a $1,000 donation to your favorite charity? Just in time summer vacation, Cash Plus, the family financial services centers company, is bringing back its wildly popular Cashaway™ Sweepstakes. Their sixth big cash giveaway program launches July 13.

"Cash Plus has always believed in giving back to the community," explains Julie Wells, owner of two Anaheim Cash Plus franchise stores. "The Cashaway Sweepstakes is another example of the company putting its money where its mouth is."

Cash Plus launched the industry-first sweepstakes program in 2001 as a reward for its customers. Its 2004 Cashaway Sweepstakes brought in more than 40,000 entries and awarded $20,000 in cash prizes.

"We found that 98% of customers and 93% of participating stores couldn't wait to play the sweepstakes again," says Murray Schacher, Vice President of Franchise Operations for Cash Plus, Inc. "What better time to bring back this popular program than summertime?"

Cash Plus stores provide check cashing, payday advances, money orders, wire transfers and a variety of convenience services.

This year's Cashaway Sweepstakes will run from July 13 through September 16. Out of the $20,000 in total cash prizes, the first place winner will receive $5,000 and a $1,000 donation to his or her favorite charity. Second place receives $2,500 with another $500 going to a favorite charity. The third place winner will get $1,000 plus a $250 charitable contribution in his or her name. The company is also giving away five $500 awards, five $100 awards, 25 $50 awards and 220 $25 awards. Entries are available at participating Cash Plus retail stores.
