Bruegger's Adds "Bruegger's-worthy" Breakfast Wraps To Menu

Breakfast menu expands with two new double-egg breakfast wraps; Golden French Toast Coffee back by popular demand

BURLINGTON, VT. (Wednesday, January 11, 2006) - It's not easy to become an addition to the Bruegger's menu, and that's why Bruegger's new breakfast wraps will carry the "Bruegger's-Worthy" stamp of approval. The two new wraps, the Rio Grande and the Classic Wrap, offer guests a nutritious, warm and satisfying start to the day.

"Not any breakfast sandwich can compete with our classic sandwiches served on our signature bagels," said Philip Smith, Bruegger's Executive Chef. "These new wraps stand up to the test and offer our guests a hearty and filling start to their morning."

The Rio Grande wrap adds a Southwestern flavor to any morning. It features zesty jalapeno cream cheese, roasted red peppers, two eggs and a choice of bacon, ham or sausage rolled in a warm whole-wheat wrap.

The Classic Wrap is a new twist on a traditional breakfast favorite with two eggs, two slices of cheddar cheese and a choice of bacon, ham or sausage rolled up in a warm whole wheat wrap.

Smith also added that the new breakfast wraps are a first for the chain. "Although our guests have always been able to order a breakfast sandwich on a wrap instead of a bagel, this will be the first time we have featured new egg sandwiches specifically on wraps."

"The new breakfast wraps offer our guests a satisfying and convenient breakfast that's quick and easy," said Bruegger's CEO James Greco. "The wraps also expand our breakfast daypart and allow us to provide a wider selection of breakfast choices to our guests."

Back by popular demand is a seasonal coffee favorite, Golden French Toast Coffee by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This Fair Trade Certified TM coffee offers the comforting flavor of warm, buttered French toast plus a touch of cinnamon and sweet maple syrup. Golden French Toast Coffee has been one of the most popular feature-flavored coffees in the past few years, with guests continuing to request its return to the coffee selection.
