Is Senator For Or Against Bingo Proposal?

In reference to the Friday, March 24 edition of The Baxter Bulletin editorial by Thomas Garrett, who reported the vote for Amendment 1 to legalize bingo and raffles in the state of Arkansas.

Sen. Shawn Womack voted "present." I would like to have a reason for his not voting aye or nay. I hope he is not voting his religious view on this amendment.

As the old-timers would say, you're either fer it or agin it. We already know you were present.
