Bennigan's Promotes Cheating

(Tuesday, January 10, 2006) - Cheating is a good thing, according to Bennigan's, thanks to its new promotional menu that encourages customers to "cheat on their favorite dish." With a lineup of new appetizers, entrees, drinks and desserts, the restaurant is rallying patrons to stray from their regular items by offering a few things that are too tempting to resist.

"We know our customers have their favorites, but we're going to entice them to try something new," said Clay Dover, vice president of marketing at Bennigan's. "Our chefs have been hard at work perfecting the promotional menu to champion a little guilty temptation."

The promotional menu is available through February 26 and includes the following:
• Boneless Buffalo Wings: Crispy breaded chicken breast tossed in a spicy wing sauce accompanied by cool bleu cheese dressing
• Grilled BBQ Chicken Sandwich: Grilled chicken breast topped with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce
• Philly Cheeseburger: Green peppers, grilled onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese
• Fajita Burger: Rich cheddar, jalapenos, pico de gallo and guacamole
• Big Ben Chocolate Caramel Brownie Sundae: Three scoops of vanilla ice cream in hot fudge and caramel sauce. Topped with warm, chewy brownie bites, whipped cream and a cherry
• Godiva® Chocolate Covered Strawberry: Godiva® Chocolate Liqueur and Disaronno® Originale Amaretto blended with strawberry puree and ice cream
• Margatini: Featuring Sauza® Conmemorativo Tequila and Grand Marnier®
• Lynchburg Long Island Iced Tea: Featuring SKYY® Citrus Vodka, BACARDI® Limon Rum, Jack Daniel's® and triple sec topped with lemon-lime soda
