Bennigan's Offers Weekly Specials On Monte Cristo And Burgers

(Tuesday, January 17, 2006) - Mondays and Wednesdays never tasted so good thanks to Monte Madness Mondays and Burger Break Wednesdays at Bennigan's. Available at participating restaurants nationwide, Bennigan's is offering its signature Monte Cristo sandwich for $5.99 on Mondays and all half-pound burgers for $4.99 on Wednesdays.

"Everyone needs a break during the week, so we're giving customers specials on some of our classic dishes," said Clay Dover, vice president of marketing at Bennigan's.

Bennigan's introduced the Monte Madness and Burger Break program in limited release in (2005. The promotion did so well that sales and customer traffic increased significantly on those days and Bennigan's decided to roll out the promotion across the country.

"Customers appreciate the savings and it gives friends and family a chance to dine out together without spending too much," said Dover. "The early success was proof that the demand for casual dining at this price point on our menu deserved a national campaign."
