Beaner's Gourmet Coffee Launches New Line Of B Involved Charity Mugs

(Friday, September 23, 2005) - BEANER'S Gourmet Coffee, a Lansing-based coffee house franchise, has released a new line of charity mugs titled B Involved. $1 from the sale of each of these mugs goes to selected non-profit organizations. The new line has launched this September and will continue through the fall season.



Two charities were chosen for the start of the B Involved line: the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Give. Customers have a choice between purchasing a camouflage mug, for which $1 is donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, or a crayon mug, for which $1 is donated to Operation Give.



The Wounded Warrior Project assists injured men and women of America's armed forces. The Project coordinates a unified effort that enables wounded veterans to aid each other and readjust to civilian life.



Operation Give organizes the collection and distribution of goods for Iraqi children. Toys and other needed items are given to the children of Iraq, who have endured years of war and tyranny. The goal of Operation Give is to put a smile on the faces of these children faces and hope in their hearts.



"For the launch of the B Involved line, we wanted to chose charities that all of our customers can relate to," said Bob Fish, CEO. "The Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Give touch on sentiments that everyone in America is feeling right now."

B Involved mugs are sold in participating stores and online at http://shop.beaners.com/. Checks will be issued to both organizations once all mugs are sold.
