Beaner's Gourmet Coffee Raises $1,000 For Wounded Warrior Project

(Thursday, January 19, 2006) - BEANER'S Gourmet Coffee, a Lansing-based coffee house franchise, raised $1,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project as a result of the sales from their new line of charity mugs titled B Involved. 1,000 mugs were sold in just three months and $1 from the sale of each camouflage mug was donated to the charity.

The Wounded Warrior Project assists injured men and women of America's armed forces. The Project coordinates a unified effort that enables wounded veterans to aid each other and readjust to civilian life.

"We are very happy with the results of the first line of B Involved mugs," said Bob Fish, CEO. "We are glad we could help the Wounded Warrior Project and get our customers involved too."

B Involved crayon mugs are still available. $1 from the sale of each of these mugs will go to Operation Give, a charity that organizes the collection and distribution of goods for Iraqi children. Toys and other needed items are given to the children of Iraq, who have endured years of war and tyranny. The goal of Operation Give is to put a smile on the faces of these children and hope in their hearts.
