Beaner's Coffee Wins Three Addy Awards

Second Year in a Row

(Friday, February 10, 2006) - BEANER'S COFFEE will celebrate its award-winning designs with graphic design company, Group 230, and local artist, Barbara Hranilovich, at the annual ADDY Awards tonight. The coffee house franchise won three ADDY Awards for specific designs for the second year in a row.



Group 230, the sole graphic artist agency for BEANER'S, won two ADDY Awards. This recognition includes one Gold ADDY Award for the Snowfolk Tumblers Gift Set, which sold in stores last year, and one Silver ADDY Award for the Black Gift Set Box, currently in stores. Fran Russell, founder of Group 230, is proud of her award-winning BEANER'S merchandise.



"The BEANER'S team has a unique corporate vision that really inspires our creativity," said Fran Russell.



Local artist Barbara Hranilovich teamed up with BEANER'S and Group 230 to produce a series of "Ingredients" images that are displayed on store walls. She won a Gold ADDY Award for this series.



Barbara's award-winning artwork for BEANER'S is a product of her very positive relationship with the company.

The ADDY Awards is an annual competition held by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The competition is an event through which the AAF recognizes all forms of advertising, and presents awards that celebrate the creative spirit of the profession. This year's Lansing ADDY Awards will be held on Friday, February 10 with the local winners advancing to a regional competition.
