(Sunday, February 01, 2004) - bd's mongolian barbeque hopes its first TV ad will be a feast for diners' ears.

Starting at the front door, as a diner would, the spot emphasizes a customer's ability to create his or her own stir fry, with sauces and flavors that are not just Asian but draw on a variety of ethnicities, as well as the option to watch the meal being made.


"Go Mongo" plays off the popularity of the modern dance performance "Stomp." It highlights the various sounds of the restaurant, from chopsticks to tongs clicking, to chairs being pulled in and out, to chicken and tofu sizzling. "It is basically a bd's music video."
