Development Agreement For The State Of Nevada

LAS VEGAS (Friday, February 11, 2005) - Baker Bros American Deli, a fast-casual concept headquartered in Dallas, has executed an exclusive area development agreement with an experienced restaurant group for the State of Nevada.

The newest franchise group of Baker Bros plans to open two Baker Bros restaurants in the Las Vegas area in 2005. The group expects to open a minimum of six stores within four years.

Founded in 1999 by Ken Reimer and Tom Dahl, two well-respected industry veterans, Baker Bros currently operates six company stores and one franchised store in Dallas, Texas. Baker Bros began pursuing franchise agreements in July 2004 and is expecting to ink several more agreements later this year.

Baker Bros is an upscale, fast-casual deli featuring Specialty Sandwiches, Specialty Salads, Gourmet Pizzas and more. All entrees are prepared fresh to order using the freshest available breads, ingredients and produce. The restaurants typically operate in high visibility strip centers and occupy from 2500-3000 SF with seating from 120-160.
