Baja Fresh Will Be Served In The Artist Lounge, Media Center & New Artists Show

(Wednesday, April 28, 2004) - Baja Fresh® is partnering with the Academy of Country Music to support the 39TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS by being an official food sponsor. All 300 Baja Fresh restaurants will feature tune-in information about the telecast. Baja Fresh and the Academy of Country Music will host a contest to win two trip packages for two to the 2004 Academy of Country Music Awards. Academy stars will dine on Baja Fresh food backstage and will be given All Access Passes valued at $20,000 that allow the celebrity to eat in all 300 Baja Fresh restaurants every day for a year with four friends. A Baja Fresh Charity Pass will also be presented to celebrities to use as the catering for 100 guests for their favorite charity's fundraiser. Baja Fresh will support country music and the Academy by supplying food and donations to all of the week's events including the Artist Lounge, the Media Center and the New Artists Show.


The Academy of Country Music Awards, which honors country music's top talent as well as the industry?s hottest emerging talent, will be broadcast LIVE from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 26th, 2004 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. The Academy of Country Music's Leading Lady, Reba McEntire, will host and perform along with performances by Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry, Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, George Strait, and Keith Urban. The Rock, LeAnn Rimes and NASCAR Superstar Sterling Marlin are presenters.
