National Franchisor Moves Headquarters To Myrtle Beach

(Tuesday, July 29, 2003) - AccuTrak Inventory Specialists®, a national franchisor, has moved its corporate headquarters to Myrtle Beach.

AccuTrak Inventory Specialists® provide inventory consulting services to virtually any business, from warehouses to convenience stores to retail outlets. These services include inventory reporting and management, various training programs, sales reporting, pricing surveys and a mystery-shopping program.

AccuTrak's corporate headquarters now is located in the Myrtle Beach area: 1818C Hwy 17 N. #320, Surfside Beach, SC 29575, 866-228-8725. It began operating at the new location in June 2003.

Vince and Judi Perrin, long-time Myrtle Beach residents, founded AccuTrak, then called ACS Inventory, in 1993. They saw a need for quality inventory services in the Myrtle Beach area. "We discovered that no one was servicing local businesses and providing a quality inventory consulting service," Judi Perrin said.

They worked diligently to fill that need.

In July 2000, they found an opportunity to increase their growth through franchising their unique system by partnering with D3 Enterprises LLC, formerly The Sunbelt Network. Two major changes accompanied that partnership ? they changed the company's name to AccuTrak Inventory Specialists® and moved the company headquarters to Charleston, S.C.

AccuTrak Inventory Specialists® grew rapidly. Today the company boasts more than 40 franchises throughout the United States, including offices in the Bahamas and Bolivia.

In March 2003, the Perrins and D3 Enterprises had a difference of opinion regarding their visions of AccuTrak's future. The Perrins bought out the share owned by D3 Enterprises, again becoming sole owners of AccuTrak Inventory Specialists®.

Their first executive decision was to move the corporate headquarters back to where it all began. "Myrtle Beach is where AccuTrak started, so we moved it back home," Vince Perrin said.
