Dearborn Manager's Commitment To Customer Mania Nets Up-close Experience At Kentucky Derby.

DEARBORN (Monday, May 10, 2004) - On most Saturdays, you'll find Ben Piechocki serving up cheeseburgers and root beer floats for his Dearborn customers. But on the first Saturday in May, Piechocki was a V.I.P. guest at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby, courtesy of Yum! Brands, Inc., and A&W® All American Food®.

Piechocki was one of a select group of Restaurant General Managers whose focus on Customer Mania was rewarded with an expenses-paid weekend in Louisville, Ky. Piechocki and his fellow managers enjoyed the Kentucky Oaks on Friday and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, as well as a V.I.P. dinner hosted by David Novak, Yum! Brands, Inc., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Piechocki is a 20-year A&W® restaurant veteran and the manager of the brand's high-volume location outside the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn. He is respected by his team and peers as a great leader and coach, and his commitment to Customer Mania is driving sales at his restaurant.
