Del Taco Signs Palisades Media Group For Media Planning/buying

SANTA MONICA, CALIF (Tuesday, March 21, 2006) - Del Taco, Inc. and Palisades Media Group have reached an agreement for Palisades to oversee the company's media buying and planning for the majority of Del Taco's major markets.

"Palisades Media Group was awarded the Del Taco business after extensive research for a high-level, performance-driven media services company. We look forward to a successful and long-term relationship," said Sharon Fogg, Vice President of Marketing for Del Taco.

Palisades Media Group is currently pursuing an aggressive expansion strategy, including a significant investment in new talent across a wide range of disciplines and an emphasis on growing the firm's presence in general market categories. Posting fifteen years of consecutive same store sales growth, Del Taco is the nation's second largest Mexican quick serve restaurant chain. Last year, Del Taco opened 34 new restaurants, including new markets such as Michigan, Idaho, and Oregon. Del Taco currently has sixty franchise development agreements in place to open 338 new restaurants over the next five years.
