Marianne Murphy Receives Certified Franchise Executive Designation From Ifa

BOUND BROOK, NJ (Tuesday, March 21, 2006) - HouseMaster® is proud to announce that Marianne Murphy, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, has received the Certified Franchise Executive designation given by the International Franchise Association.

The CFE program is conducted by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives, a subsidiary of the IFA Educational Foundation. According to the IFA, the goal of the CFE program is to enhance the professionalism of franchising by certifying the highest standards of quality training and education. The curriculum, which is specific to franchising, provides individuals with the opportunity to expand knowledge, gain industry recognition, and experience peer-level networking.

Murphy joined HouseMaster in 1989, running one of its largest franchise offices, after a lengthy career in the real estate appraisal industry. In addition to managing sales and operations at that office, she has conducted hundreds of training sessions for real estate professionals.

In 1996 Ms. Murphy transitioned to HouseMaster's corporate headquarters located in Bound Brook, New Jersey as Director of Marketing. Named Vice President in 2001, and Vice President of Marketing and Development in 2003, Murphy is responsible for sales training and support and the implementation of all marketing programs. Her boundless enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge of the HouseMaster system have helped countless franchisees successfully develop their businesses. She holds a B.A. from Rutgers College and lives in Ocean, N.J.
