Bar-b-cutie Scores Big In Williamson County

BRENTWOOD, TN (Thursday, March 09, 2006) - Sunset Middle School, the brand new middle school in Williamson County that officially opened in January '06, is proud to unveil its newest addition to its building! Yes, locker rooms and "big kid" bleachers are great and tremendously appreciated, but scoreboards don't come with the "middle school package".

In the past, middle schools have depended on drink suppliers such as Coke and Pepsi to fill this gap, but since schools in Williamson County have eliminated most of their beverage vending machines in attempts to present healthier food choices to their students, a scoreboard delima has begun.

Bar-B-Cutie wasted no time in helping to get the school athletic program off to a great start! "Being involved in the community really pays off!" says Ronnie McFarland, Bar-B-Cutie's President. "We always try to help out when we can," continues McFarland.

McFarland did not hesitate when asked to purchase a scoreboard for Sunset Middle. Our community is what makes Bar-B-Cutie a success! "We are so proud of our community and our kids and want to make it better in any way we can,"states Brett McFarland, a Williamson County resident.
