Little Scoops Dishes Up Another Franchised Location

BLAUVELT, NEW YORK (Saturday, January 07, 2006) - Little Scoops, dubbed one of the "hot new franchises for 2005" by Entrepreneur magazine, has opened another location of their popular 1950's style ice cream parlor specializing in children's parties at 326 Harrington Avenue in Closter, NJ 07624 (201-768-6900), it was announced today by Michelle Violetto and Tanya Ehrlich, co-founders of LS Franchise Corp., the parent company for Little Scoops franchise sales.

A grand opening celebration is set to take place at the Closter location on Monday, January 16, 2006 from 11AM-1PM with free ice cream, entertainment and activities for all participants.

Little Scoops burst onto the children's party scene with in 2002 with one location in Blauvelt, NY and according to the Rivertown press "has taken the area by storm".

Today, with the addition of the Closter location, Little Scoops boasts five franchised units, and four more are planned for 2006.

Little Scoops locations offer a party room where children play a variety of interactive games set to popular, classic, and age-appropriate music. Pizza is served, along with beverages and juice, and when its time for ice cream, the party moves into the retro 1950's-style ice cream parlor where children create their own sundaes with a variety of toppings.
