(bw) Bennigan's Increases International Presence With Franchise Agreement Announcement And New Restaurant Openings

PLANO, TEXAS (Thursday, February 16, 2006) - Bennigan's Grill & Tavern continues to expand internationally, thanks to a franchise development agreement in the United Arab Emirates and restaurant openings in Mexico and El Salvador.


Abdul Rahman Muftah Al Muftah and John Mathew recently signed a franchise development agreement to develop two Bennigan's locations in the United Arab Emirates over the next two years. The franchisees currently operate a Bennigan's restaurant in Qatar and, as part of the agreement, they expect to open the next restaurant by December 2006.

Bennigan's continues to grow throughout Central America as well with restaurants opening in Villahermosa, Mexico and Gran Via, El Salvador this month. Bennigan's currently operates 45 international restaurants in 10 countries.
