Qdoba Mexican Grill Expands Franchise Deal With Indiana Company
Aztec says a new deal will allow them to grow the franchise throughout Indiana. Currently, Aztec operates 15 Qdoba Mexican Grill locations in central Indiana with four additional locations planned for this year
DENVER (Wednesday, March 01, 2006) -
Due to the rapid growth of Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants in Indiana, President and CEO Gary Beisler recently announced an extended franchise agreement with Aztec Partners, LLC.
Native Hoosiers and long-time friends, Aztec co-owners Greg Willman and Phil Salsbery, who serve as president and CEO respectively, signed their original agreement in 1998 for the Indianapolis market. The newly expanded agreement includes not only all of Central Indiana, but also the balance of the state, except Evansville and Terre Haute. Willman and Salsbery currently own and operate 15 Qdoba Mexican Grill locations in Central Indiana and have plans to open an additional four locations in 2006.
"Phil and I got started with Qdoba very early in the company's development," Willman said. "We are excited to see how it has expanded in Indiana as well as nationally."
Willman has 20 years of combined experience in real estate, business development and marketing. He currently serves as co-owner, president and CEO of 316 Investments, LLC, a holding company which owns Aztec Partners, LLC. Willman received a bachelor of arts in business administration with a minor in economics from Hanover College and an MBA in marketing and management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. He graduated from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis.
Salsbery has 20 years of experience in sales, manufacturing and real estate development. He is co-owner and chairman of 316 Investments, LLC. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Group Dekko Companies where he worked for several years, leaving as a Group President. Salsbery received his bachelor of arts in business administration and economics from Hanover College. He graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis.
In its expansion, Aztec Partners, LLC also recently announced Bob Louden as general manager for Qdoba operations in Indiana. Louden brings over 20 years of experience in the industry from his previous positions as division manager for both Don Pablo's restaurants and Starbucks Coffee Company. Louden graduated from the University of Oregon with a finance degree.
