D'angelo Sandwich Shops And Papa Gino's Restaurants Start Annual Fund For Easter Seals And Genesis Fund

Guests can get over $35 in coupons for $1 donation

DEDHAM, MA (Wednesday, April 27, 2005) - On May 2, 2005, D'Angelo Sandwich Shops and Papa Gino's restaurants will kick off their annual coupon campaign to support Easter Seals and The Genesis Fund.

Throughout May, guests will have the opportunity to donate $1 to support the charitable work of these two dedicated organizations and in return receive coupons for over $35 in savings on D'Angelo's and Papa Gino's menu items.

"This is a great way for our employees and our customers to reach out to people in our community who need help," said Mike McManama, vice president of marketing for both D'Angelo Sandwich Shops and Papa Gino's restaurants. The annual campaign has raised more than three million dollars over the past 27 years, McManama noted. The donations are used by The Genesis Fund for specialized care and treatment of children born with birth defects, genetic diseases and mental retardation. Easter Seals uses the dollars donated to help children and adults with disabilities expand their independence through physical, occupational and speech therapy, summer camp, assistive technology, job training and employment, advocacy and disability information.
