Roy Rogers Launches Phillips Crab Cake Sandwich

(Tuesday, June 14, 2005) - In a move highly anticipated by diners across the Eastern Seaboard, Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today the rollout of "Roy's Crab Cake Sandwich Made by Phillips" as a limited time only promotion. This high-quality, hugely appetizing sandwich consists of a baked Crab Cake made with Phillips(TM) crabmeat on a toasted Martin's potato roll.

"Roy's Crab Cake Sandwich Made by Phillips" will be served with a choice of creamy tartar sauce or spicy cocktail sauce. Or, as always, diners can get creative at Roy's famous Fixin's Bar. They can add lettuce and tomato if they want, or even ketchup (not recommended, but Roy's will allow it). The Crab Cake sandwich sells for $4.79, and the combo meal is $6.89, which includes a regular side dish (also highly delicious in its own right) and regular drink. Guests can also add a second side dish, and likely will, for only $0.59. The Crab Cake promotion will be supported through radio advertising and local store marketing activities. It will also be supported through people trying it and proclaiming their love of the sandwich to friends, loved ones, and passersby.
