SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (Friday, February 24, 2006) - The opening of Red Rock Chili Company at the Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, California marks the beginning of 6 stores scheduled to open in 2006. Red Rock will open in Redondo Beach, Valencia and Sacramento, CA and its first two "out of home state" restaurants will open in Denver and Dallas. "Strip centers and malls are so eager to have us due the sea of burger joints, Chinese food, wraps and pizza concepts that currently flood the markets in the QSR division," says Red Rock Founder Carol Collis. "Every landlord wants to be the first to have the latest thing."

"This concept is so easy to operate," say franchisees, Sai Hossain and John Kim, each who have secured multiple locations. "I had things running smooth with no problems during the first 7 days of being open."

"The opening of the back-to-back stores in the Southern California area has strengthened the brand," says Co-Founder Paul Collis. "People are bringing in their frequent guest cards and "Red Rock Bucks" they've been saving from their previous visits to other locations." The "heart healthy" chilis and soups are a strong attraction to guests of the food court. Red Rock Chili blends the most popular spices used in different chilis from all around the globe. Customers are able to pick from any of eight different chilis on a daily basis and can select an entrée on which to have it ladled over such as rice, spaghetti, nachos, salad, or ladled in a bread bowl or in a burrito or over traditional fries and hot dogs. You can also get chili as a combo or sampler with bread choices of cornbread, cheese bread or sour dough rolls. The sizes Red Rock Offers for a simple bowl are the "scoop", the "squat" the "super squat" the "a lot" and the "pail". Pricing is affordable with the average meal being between $6.00 and $8.00 USD.
