Service Brands International Promotes Jim Evers To Senior Vice President

ANN ARBOR (Friday, February 03, 2006) - Service Brands International, a multi-concept franchisor with brands that target today's time-conscious consumers and the "Do-It-For-Me" market, announced that Jim Evers has been promoted to Senior Vice President.

"Jim's been with us since August, 2003, and has lead our franchise team to record

sales in each of the last two full years. In 2005 we awarded 152 franchises almost doubling our sales for 2004. Since we can't clone Jim, we'll just have to ask him to do more," said David G. McKinnon, Chief Executive Officer of Service Brands. "Jim will continue to oversee the franchise sales organization, but he'll assume additional responsibilities within Service Brands that capitalize on his management, financial, analytical and sales skills."

Prior to joining Service Brands as Vice President of Franchise Development, Mr. Evers spent more than ten years as a consultant specializing in marketing and strategic planning. From 1973 to 1994, Mr. Evers was Vice President of the Evers Business Group (EBG), one of Chicago's largest, privately owned office furniture companies. And, from 1991 to 1992, Mr. Evers took a leave of absence from EBG to run for U.S. Congress. Mr. Evers is a graduate of Hope College with a B.A. in economics and mathematics. He also earned an M.B.A. from St. Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois.
