Century 21 Decker Realty Welcomes Award-winning Sales Associate As New Owner

STONY PLAIN, AB (Sunday, February 12, 2006) - CENTURY 21 Canada is pleased to announce the new ownership of CENTURY 21 Decker Realty. Guy Belland, a successful CENTURY 21 Decker Realty sales associate since 1999, has taken over for Murray and Jim Kulak, the family that has owned CENTURY 21 Decker Realty since it opened its doors in 1987.

The new management team follows in the footsteps of the former owners by making the business a family affair; Guy Belland being owner and commercial real estate specialist, alongside his son Mark Belland, joining as the office's broker.

"This was a tremendous opportunity, taking over this office. Alberta has a vibrant economy, with the activities in the oil patch and Fort McMurray - it's a great market with forecasts of 10-12% increase in house prices. I believe we were the very first real estate office in this area, so not only do we have the advantage of the CENTURY 21 brand, but this office also has a good position in this community," says Guy Belland, who has been in the real estate industry for over 15 years. "I have lived here for 32 years - you name the club, we belong to it – from the junior golf program to service clubs."

Stony Plain, a city just 20 minutes outside of Edmonton, is also near Spruce Grove, where Belland hopes to open another office in the near future.
