Intercontinental Hotels Group Announces Opening Of Mexico's First Staybridge Suites

Sixty-room property situated in Monterrey’s exclusive business and financial district

ATLANTA (Thursday, December 15, 2005) - InterContinental Hotels Group, the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, announced today the opening of Mexico’s first Staybridge Suites hotel in Monterrey.

Plans for further expansion of Staybridge Suites outside the U.S. include developments in Puebla, Mexico; Canada and the United Kingdom.


Guests at the Staybridge Suites Monterrey-San Pedro can choose from two suite options (one-bedroom and two-bedroom). All suites feature fully equipped kitchens, in-room DVD/CD players, functional, well-lit work stations with ergonomic seating, data ports, two-line speaker phone with voicemail and direct dial access and high-speed internet access is also available at no charge.


The newly renovated hotel offers several unique amenities such as complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities, outdoor pool, same day laundry and valet, free parking, deluxe complimentary daily breakfast buffet, which features a rotating selection of hot items, a 24-hour convenience store and a 24-hour business services center. In addition, guests will enjoy gathering in the hotel’s Great Room for evening "Sundowner” receptions three days a week for refreshments, light appetizers and conversation.


The hotel is located in Monterrey’s most exclusive business and financial district known as Del Valle of San Pedro Garza Garcia.
