Gnc Names Benjamin Pratt Senior Director Of Corporate Communications

GNC Corporation (GNC) today announced that Benjamin Pratt has joined the company as Senior Director of Corporate Communications.

PITTSBURGH, PA (Wednesday, November 09, 2005) - Mr. Pratt is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including investor and media relations as well as communication with GNC’s company-owned and franchised stores.

Prior to joining GNC, Mr. Pratt was director of financial communications at The PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh. Earlier, he served as vice president of investor relations at Lehman Brothers Inc. and associate director of corporate communications at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc., both in New York. He is a graduate of Duke University.

GNC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, operates 2,633 company-owned stores in the U.S. and Canada and has 1,212 domestic franchised locations, 1,114 Rite Aid “store-within-a-store” locations and 822 international franchised locations.
