Oxford Learning Rises In The 2006 Entrepreneur Franchise 500 Rankings

LONDON, ON (Friday, January 20, 2006) - Based on factors such as financial strength and stability, growth rate and size, Entrepreneur magazine has ranked Oxford Learning number 404 on its 2006 Franchise 500 list, up 77 places from its 2005 ranking.

The magazine went on to predict that franchises like Oxford Learning are “hot opportunities” and “growing categories that will sweep the franchising world in 2006”. Writes Entrepreneur’s Sara Wilson, “Franchises operating for the good of kids are sure to appeal to parents who want the best for their children and are willing to pay for it.”

In 2005, Oxford Learning opened a U.S. corporate office and set its sights on the U.S. for the start of a major franchise expansion initiative. Oxford Learning has identified 800 franchise markets in the U.S., Canada and internationally.
