Froots™ Opens Its First Location In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (Wednesday, July 06, 2005) - Froots, the South Florida-based gourmet smoothie chain, has expanded its area of operation by opening its first smoothie cafe in New Orleans. Froots is located at 5250-3 Jefferson Highway, Harahan, LA just outside the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Froots offers a full menu of healthy smoothies, juices, shakes, salads and wraps.

“We’re excited to open in Louisiana,” said Cristina Cavallo, director of marketing for Froots. “Froots has been expanding throughout Florida, but this is our first store out of state. We expect to keep growing so the people of Louisiana can experience our tasty menu items.”

Froots menu items range from quick pick-me-up snacks to filling meals, refreshing nutrition-packed smoothies to fresh-squeezed juices. Froots also offers breakfast wraps and even lets you call ahead so your order will be ready when you arrive. The store is open from 7 am to 8 pm Mondays thru Fridays, 8 am to 7 pm on Saturdays, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays, and offers indoor seating.

Froots was started in 2002, with a focus on providing healthy, nutritious and delicious light meals and drinks to a health-conscious nation.
