Dippin’ Dots® Opens Miami Beach Location, Company President Scheduled For Grand Opening

MIAMI BEACH, FLA (Friday, September 23, 2005) - Dippin’ Dots®, the fastest growing franchise in the US will celebrate the opening of its North Miami Beach location Sunday, Sept. 25.

The grand opening will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at which time customers will have the opportunity to meet Dippin’ Dots inventor and owner, Curt Jones. Other activities include free taste testing, giveaways and contests with the winner receiving free Dippin’ Dots® for a year. In addition, all who attend will receive a buy one get one free discount.

The North Miami Beach store is owned by franchisees David and Elizabeth Rockowitz. The Dippin’ Dots® store is located at Lotus Plaza on Biscayne Boulevard.

“We have always loved Dippin’ Dots,” David Rockowitz said. “We wanted to bring more variety and choices for ice cream to our local area. We felt folks should have Dippin’ Dots available locally and not just when on vacation or at a ball game.”

The North Miami Beach store offers more than 20 flavors of Dippin’ Dots® ice cream, sherbet, yogurt and ice. In addition, the new location features Dot Delicacies™, a line of products which includes Dippin’ Dots® ice cream cakes and Dotwich™ ice cream sandwiches. Dippin’ Dots Dot Delicacies™ were awarded the International Dairy Association’s “Best in Show” award for excellence in the dairy field.
